Official side event at the UN Biodiversity Conference 2026 (COP17), Yerevan, Armenia.
The Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework aims to improve the way benefits derived from the use of Digital Sequence Information (DSI) are shared. Without new, scaled-up and sustained capacity sharing, DSI could widen the technology gap between high- and low-income countries.
Join global scientists, regional leaders and treaty secretariats to build an evidence-based roadmap for empowering scientists in low-income countries to mainstream DSI in agricultural research and development across Africa, Asia and Latin America.
The event will be moderated by Marie-Noëlle Ndjiondjop and Michael Halewood.
The event will be livestreamed via Zoom:Â https://us06web.zoom.us/j/86716914973?pwd=9LgHvvEGYKy86YmOEIEohEoOXd1eeK.1#success
